World Consumer Rights Day
Every year, 15th March is celebrated as World Consumer Rights Day.
World Consumer Rights Day was inspired by President John F Kennedy, who sent a special message to the US Congress on 15th March 1962, in which he formally addressed the issue of consumer rights.
We the students of grade IV of GJR International School celebrated this day with a lot of fervor and zest.
This day holds a special place for us as we were inquiring about the market economy, fair trade, demand and supply.
Poster Competition / Quiz Competition / Cartoon Competition among the students of classes IV to VI were organized. Thus utilizing the creativity of students in evolving newer format about Consumer awareness.
Fourth graders virtually visited different classrooms and made the students aware of their consumer rights.
Students also recorded their videos where they were spreading awareness at home about the consumer’s rights.
