Title: Wash your hands
Lorria is a sweet little girl. She is 8 years old. She never washes her hands properly.
One day, Lorria and her friends went to the hill near her house. They also kept some bags with them.
Sometime later, she felt really hungry. She opened her lunch box and ate her food. Later they went back home.
The next morning, when she woke up and realized she had a fever. She told her mom about her illness. Her mom said, “All the germs from your hands would have gone to your stomach.” They went to the doctor who taught her how to wash her hands.
After that, before she ate her food or came from outside she would wash her hands. she never got a fever again in her life.
Moral: We should wash our hands before we eat our food and after coming from outside to defeat the virus.

Where We Are in Place and Time:
Orients us in place and time; personal histories; homes and journeys; the discoveries, explorations, and migrations of humankind; the relationships between and the interconnectedness of individuals and civilizations, from local and global perspectives.
We the students of GJRIS love to celebrate important days and events together. We collaboratively work to spread the message to our other schoolmates by giving presentations and inviting them to our class for an interaction. We celebrated World wildlife day, National Mathematics day, Cancer awareness day, and World radio day.
Creative Designers: Students explored new platforms to design their understanding of central ideas in connection with the unit.
How We Express Ourselves :
“Celebration for a Radio”
Radio is an audio device that helps us to hear music, news, etc. So, for this amazing machine, we have a special day to celebrate its importance.
In 1896 Guglielmo Marconi invented the first radio (Wireless). World radio day is officially celebrated on 13 February every year.
The first World Radio Day was celebrated in 2012. The main objective behind celebrating World Radio Day is to raise awareness among the public and the media of the importance of radio.
The Day was decided by UNESCO on 3 November 2011 during its 36th conference meeting. Each year the UNESCO celebrates World Radio Day by planning activities with broadcasters, organizations, and communities around the world. For World Radio Day 2021, UNESCO has called on radio stations to uphold diversity.
The theme for World radio day 2021 is “New World, New Radio”. This theme has 3 subthemes.
So, on world radio day in my school, we class 5 are going to do a role-play to show the importance of radio which has helped me to gain a lot of knowledge about world radio day.
We love to express ourselves through illustrations.
