At GJR International, the teaching framework at primary school revolves around inquiry-based experiential transdisciplinary learning aligned with IB PYP methodology. It emphasizes and creates a personal and reflective learning environment. We conduct regular assessments and student conferences to understand individual strengths and weaknesses to further prepare them in the areas of critical thinking and creative ideating. These assessments also help us to arrive at a comprehension of their communication capabilities and conceptual knowledge.
We do not rely on prescribed textbooks to convey information as we are the IB PYP world school. We use various manuals and digital resources to research, analyze, and present the curriculum. We adopt innovative teaching techniques that are child-centered and allow each child to develop at their own pace and learn through the process of inquiry.
