Airport stimulation day-JKG
Our Junior KG children transformed into confident airport staff for an exciting Airport Simulation Day. The classroom was set up like a real airport with a security check-in, luggage scanner, security scanner, immigration counter, first-aid station, and a small Coffee Day counter to complete the experience.
Children from other classes participated as passengers entering the airport, checking in, scanning their luggage, moving through immigration, and preparing to “board the plane.” Our Junior KG learners managed each station with great enthusiasm—welcoming passengers, checking boarding passes, guiding them through the process, and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The role-play offered meaningful, hands-on learning while supporting the development of essential skills:
Communication skills: using simple airport vocabulary, greeting passengers, asking and answering questions politely.
Social skills: taking turns, cooperating with classmates, showing patience, and helping younger passengers.
Thinking skills: following procedures, identifying steps in the airport process, and making small decisions at each station.
Self-management skills: organizing props, maintaining their roles, dressing up independently, and showing responsibility.
Our young learners performed their roles beautifully, bringing the airport experience to life with confidence and joy. This simulation made learning memorable, purposeful, and filled with excitement for everyone involved.

KG Book Character Day
Our Early Years children celebrated the Costume Parade / Book Character Dress-Up Day with great excitement. Children arrived dressed as their favourite Disney characters such as Elsa, Rapunzel, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Hokai, and many more. The school was filled with vibrant colours, creativity and joyful smiles.
Each child confidently spoke about the character they dressed up as, and some even narrated short stories connected to their characters. It was wonderful to watch their imagination come alive and to see how proudly they expressed themselves.
The event not only encouraged creativity but also supported language development and confidence-building in our young learners. It was truly a magical day of Disney fun, stories and enthusiastic participation.

G11 Annual Day
A Talescape: Where Pages Ignite the Stage
In an age where rapid technological advancement and digitalisation often overshadow the quiet magic of books, their timeless significance calls to be rediscovered. With thoughtful intent, GJR International School chose the enchanting theme “A Talescape: A World Within Pages” for its Annual Day celebration, bringing stories alive for students from Grades 4 to 11.
Stories have forever been the heartbeat of human expression. From ancient folklore whispered across generations to modern narratives that spark innovation and change, stories shape our values, ignite imagination, and give wings to our dreams. The moment a book is opened, a magical journey unfolds—one that transcends time, space, and reality.

This theme beautifully underscores the importance of reading as the cornerstone of learning and personal growth. A talescape nurtures curiosity, empathy, critical thinking, and creativity. It invites young minds to imagine boundlessly, question fearlessly, and dream daringly. With every page turned, children discover new worlds, broaden their perspectives, and gain a deeper understanding of life itself.
Through this celebration, GJR International School reaffirmed that while screens may glow brighter, it is books that truly illuminate minds—bringing stories back to life, one page, one performance, and one child at a time.
